Partner With Us

Prior to beginning the program, the University contracted a third-party consultant to conduct an asset inventory and evaluation of opportunities. This helped to define the initial projects based on value and opportunity, in conjunction with input from the Steering Committee and Leadership Council. Future projects and priorities will be determined through input from the Leadership Council, Steering Committee, and other key partners across the University.

We recognize that there are significant financial, business, and operational impacts to this program and are working with key partners across the University to ensure the program is inclusive, meets the needs of the campus, and aligns with the University’s mission and values.

Suppliers

The Commercial Partnership Program is focused on connecting University of Pittsburgh suppliers and other commercial partners to the University Community. These connections provide the opportunity to engage with 7,300 staff, 4,600 full-time faculty and 34,500 students across 496 academic departments, not to mention our Pitt alumni, through engagements that extend the value of the partners’ service or product to the University community.

The University uses solicited bidding for most new contracts and proposals. We select candidates for Requests for Information or Requests for Proposals based on extensive research. If you are a supplier who would like to start a conversation about a partnership with the University, please use our contact us form. The University reserves the right to develop partnerships through direct negotiation with sufficient input from campus stakeholders in the community.

Non-Suppliers

If you are looking to partner with Pitt in a way that is not built out of a supplier relationship, please contact one of our Campus Partners:
